Language Navigator Question

Aug 11, 2008 at 2:46 PM
I have a navigator pointed to the language field.  I was wondering if there was a way to display the actual name of the language rather than the "language code" which I suppose is what's stored in the FAST database.  This woul be similar to the behavior of the default FAST Search Front End.

For example instead of displaying "en, de, it", I would prefer the text to say "English, German, Italian".

You could do this by altering the default XSL and adding some conditional elements (such as <XSL:if test="value='en'" etc.) You get to this by clicking on the XSL editor button in the Navigator web part properties. - ben

Thanks a lot Ben.  I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier.  This is exactly what I will do.
